In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Ann Waiguru made shocking revelations that left many wondering.

The Kirinyaga boss, who appeared on the Citizen TV's DayBreak Show broke her silence on the apparent situation of BBI in the mountain.

After the Appellate Court ruled that the BBI process was illegitimate and unconstitutional, Waiguru, via a tweet, appeared to be satisfied with the decision, something that has left Kenyans puzzled.

'Kenya will go on. BBI intended well but we must respect the constitutional authority of the courts and find other legitimate means to achieve Kenya's unity and prosperity. And for some of us, it's time for serious introspection on the political way forward' Her Aug. 20 tweet read.

Asking Ann Waiguru about the meaning of her tweet, she didn't hesitate to emphasize the necessity for a moment of reflection after the lengthy voyage packed with all manner of reactions ultimately came to a dead stop.

The governor of Kirinyaga wondered why they were unable to succeed, given that the entire initiative was intended to benefit Kenyans as a whole.

'If you are trying to do something good for the people and the people are not moving with you. Is there something wrong that you did in that engagement? Is it the procedure of engagement? Is it the way we were presenting ourselves? Is it the political vehicle? You have to sit back and ask yourself that.' she added.

On the necessity of political reflection, she underlined that it is necessary for any politician to do so in order to prevent reaching rock bottom in their future political objectives.

In what appeared to be a direct message to the head of state, who has been at the forefront of the BBI program alongside his ODM counterpart, she remarked about the importance of taking the views of wanjikus into account and refraining from forcing issues down people's throats.
